Employee Onboarding

This document describes the standard onboarding process for all new employees and contractors at MS-HR Consulting.

Timeline Overview

Day -5 ── Send welcome email + IT provisioning request
Day 0 ── First day: Office tour, team intro, equipment handover
Week 1 ── Role-specific onboarding sessions
Week 4 ── 30-day check-in with manager
Week 12 ── 90-day review + probation assessment

Pre-Boarding Checklist (HR)

  • Signed employment contract received
  • Tax and personal data form completed
  • IT access requested (email, Slack, GitHub, HR systems)
  • Welcome package prepared
  • Desk / home-office setup confirmed
  • Buddy assigned

Required Training (Week 1)

All new employees must complete the following within the first week:

  1. Data Protection & GDPR — mandatory eLearning (≤ 2h)
  2. Information Security Basics — mandatory eLearning (≤ 1h)
  3. QMS Awareness — 30-min session with QM Lead
  4. Code of Conduct — read and sign

90-Day Probation Review

The manager conducts a structured review covering:

  • Performance against agreed objectives
  • Cultural fit and team integration
  • Skill gaps and development plan
  • Decision: confirm employment / extend probation / terminate
